Our time is up at the vacation rental tomorrow. Today is the last hurrah of activity while doing laundry and packing. Another perfect weather day – 55 in the morning and by noon 69 with lots of sun. Since we are early risers, we beat most of the crowds for breakfast at Jeannie’s Great Maine Breakfast cafe. All the tables are taken inside but there are several available outdoors. One last time for Maine blueberry pancakes! By the time we get home, it will be pumpkin pancake time LOL.
A short walk along the shore path after breakfast stopping to take a last picture of the harbor from the cannons perspective. Next, we take off in the car for a last drive on the Acadia National Park Loop Road and walk along the Ocean Path.

The colors are really coming out on some of the trees.

In the past, I’ve obsessed about the carriage roads and bridges. There are 45 miles of carriage roads in Acadia NP. This time we never even stepped foot on a carriage road! Today, while on the Loop Road, I took a couple of pictures of the amazing stone bridges. Even caught a glimpse of a horse and rider crossing one of the bridges on a carriage road. Just love it!

Tonight our dinner is at West Street Cafe. They have redone this place and it is very nice with a great view of the harbor. Food is great!
Walk back along the Shore Path and we are done with Bar Harbor until the next time!
Looks and sounds like you’ve had a wonderful vacation. Pictures are so beautiful and I could almost feel the cool temperatures! I do miss the Fall season of the North for its colorful beauty. I will be happy to see you both Tuesday evening!
