An evening of relaxing in our beautiful Four Seasons Resort casita is a nice way to remind ourselves we are on vacation. Then, for us, the next morning hiking right outside our resort. Fun hike in the desert hills and Steve records our stats on his Garmin watch– 1:31:58 overall time, 3.18 miles, hike is at 6,000 ft altitude, average temp is 79.7. He also posted on his Facebook page the entire hike with a map and other data. Amazing technology!

As for the hike, this type of hike is nice because it really isn’t strenuous except when you climb up the hills. These hills have luxury homes on the hillsides which people want you to know not to try to come to their house.Back from our hike, our reward is breakfast, some blue corn pancakes and a sweet desert bird serenading us. This is our last day at the resort. I’m heading to the spa this afternoon while Steve enjoys his quiet time. This evening an opera – Madam Butterfly.Did I mention we will be coming back next year? We leave tomorrow morning early for Amarillo Texas and then on to Fairview Oklahoma.
