Today we depart Iceland. Check-out is at noon so we have the morning to walk around. At first it isn’t raining. A nice walk down the trail that follows along the harbor.

The clouds and mist is starting as we enter the Saga Museum. A small museum with wax figure displays telling the story of Iceland through their well know sagas.

Now we walk to the city center where there is the Prime Minister’s Office and statues of the men who settled and shaped the country.

I took a short walk up a street towards a church which turned out to be Catholic. Very quaint houses further up the hill and older houses (settled in earlier times) closer to the harbor.

Time to check-out and wait for our bus to the airport. While the trip is over some pictures of signage need to be shared – for a smile.
