Traveling from Sarasota to Santa Fe seems like it takes forever. Prosecco in a paper cup to toast our trip seemed appropriate. The two hour time change helps overcome the long day…sort of. Thank goodness all flights were on time. Route 66 greets us in Albuquerque airport. Did not remember this sculpture!

Ann and I checked into our lovely hotel.

Snacks and drink in the bar and then a short stroll towards the Plaza for bottles of water for our hotel room. Yes, hydration will be our mantra these next few days.
