Leaving New York through LaGuardia airport security in Terminal B is unbelievable. They have installed a new semi-automated baggage conveyor where you place everything in a bin, 3 deep, and the bins move forward randomly through the X-ray. Everyone waiting for their bags on the other side is talking about how inefficient this system seems. A person standing next to me says, โIโd like to meet the person who chose this crazy system and have a talk.โ LOL
The flight to Richmond was smooth and short. Shirley is waiting to drive us to Williamsburg and check-in our hotel. We take a state road called โPocahontas Trail.โ No, we did not see her in the woods.

Dinner reservations at LaYaca, a lovely French restaurant where we ate the last time I was visiting Shirley. Another delicious meal!

On the way back to the hotel, we stop in one of the Williamsburg shopping areas to go in a Christmas store and watch the ice skaters. In the morning we will wander Gloucester Street.

Todayโs final event: When I open the door into my hotel room, the air conditioner/heating unit is beeping quite loudly. Called the front desk and the maintenance man arrived shortly to fix it. Jinxed by the Full moon!

I love seeing you having such a great time!
