Friends invited me to come hike in the Perico Preserve in Bradenton, an area located in an estuary Sarasota and Tampa Bays. November is the perfect time to visit – cooler weather and an amazing amount of Muhly grass in bloom.

The trail loops around the field and rows of grass.

You can also see across the water inlet to Robinson Preserve.

Definitely a place to visit to see the Muhly grass in bloom. The pictures do not even come close to showing how striking a view it can be. Fun day!
