Sometimes I forget with all my travels that I live in paradise. I bid on a silent auction Catamaran Sunset Cruise last March and finally was able to grab a date that worked for my friends and me. We were able to enjoy the benefit of living in Florida.

The cruise was three hours on the Manatee River and out into Tampa Bay on a beautiful catamaran with a captain sailing us, snacks, beverages of choice, and some good Yacht Rock music in the background.

The weather did not disappoint – sunny with some clouds, a storm on the horizon, an unexpected waterspout, and a glowing red sunset.

What a lovely evening and local!!
