Up early to continue to stay close to Eastern Time Zone. Walk, talk, blog, one last photo from my room’s view, and then out to brunch with the Sarasota group. Cute place – possibly a chain? Broken Yolk. Huge breakfast choices. It’s Father’s Day so quite busy inside and our group of eleven needs to wait understandably.

Back at the resort, I’m now checked out of my room and will wait in Russ and Megan’s room.
Why do the airlines have so many issues? Changed my flight to be able to go in and out of Sarasota after my debacle in Tampa last Thursday. It’s 11:30 AM and I’m a text telling me there is a flight delays for my 9:40 PM flight. Why? Where is the equipment coming from? All I can see is from Salt Lake City but they are not having issues. I’ll have to find out at the airport.
We walked over to see RJ and Kacie and munch on some of their food—lots of leftovers – especially cupcakes and cake. Remember this picture?!

The rest of the afternoon, relaxing outside having a good conversation with Bruce while the group inside is playing cards. The day is sunny, cool with lots of activity on Mission Bay. Nice to just watch the world go by. Bye to Sarasota friends for now.

Thankful for Russ’s Uber business to take me to the airport early. Check into the Delta Sky Club and find out that the airplane equipment is on its way from Salt Lake City to San Diego – some good news. Fortunately, the club is not crowded.
The delay issue the front desk tells me is due to the crew and their air time. So a 30 minute delay is not so bad. I only have 3 and half hours to find out if it is true. The Club closes at 10:15 pm so hope to be in the air by then!

If there is no blog tomorrow, it means I made it home safe and sound!
